Project Holiday Hope: Be Santa!
I would like to invite you to help us do something bold and extraordinary….
Every day there are silent struggles happening in our community. Unheard voices, families being torn apart due to mental illness. There is nothing more frightening than to watch a child descend into illness, with no way to help. Many of these parents and caregivers are unable to financially provide for their families, with high rates of job loss or inability to work due to the care management of their child. This all contributes to the alienation and isolation of these vulnerable families from their community. While Christmas is a time of excitement for many, for these families Christmas brings unwanted stress and disappointment.
The good news is we can do something about this together.
Join us in Project Holiday Hope, a program designed to bring Christmas cheer to the children of families who are in crisis level care management provided by Catholic Community Services (CCS). CCS provides high intensity mental health treatment and crisis stabilization services to Medicare qualified families throughout Southwest Washington and the Portland Metro Area. The work they do is critical to avoid unnecessary psychiatric hospitalizations of children struggling with their mental health.
We are looking to partner with businesses and individuals to find donors to help provide gifts by hosting a giving tree (in your companies location) or donating to our adopt-a-family program.
Here is what your tax-deductible donations can provide:
· $25 donation will provide one gift for a child
· $100 can purchase four gifts
· $500 can sponsor five families
· $1,000 can give ten families an amazing Christmas!
All donations help the cause, no matter how large or small. Your support will play a critical role in bringing hope and joy to families this holiday season. All of our families receiving services are special to us. Join us in creating special Christmas morning memories for them!
